'Tis Friday, y'all! And, even better, it's D&D day! I am trying to be less stressed out today, since yesterday was a bit of a shitshow emotionally. At least I slept last night, so that helps. Lack of sleep does not improve my disposition.
The dog's poopy butt really freaks me out. He gets so upset about it, and there's nothing we can do for him (at least nothing he'll let us do) and the vet never has any appointments right away, so it's multiple days of the dog being stressed out and me being stressed out in turn. At the moment, it's not horrible, and he has an appointment on Thursday for his shots and a butt shave, so at least there's a time limit on it. He just got back from his morning walkies, and he's very happy (and utterly soaked), so I guess it's okay for the moment.
On the menu for today: reread the module and decide if there's anything extra that I want to throw at my players (evil wizards and evil archdruids and a pissed off goddess could be on the menu-so many choices!) There's a couple of options on where they're going to go next, but we'll see what they actually want to do. It's very rainy and dreary today, so my motivation beyond that is limited.
I'm reaching a lull in Disney planning and it's making me restless. The packages won't open up until June, so there's nothing I can do at the moment. I've watched all the relevant videos, and know exactly what I want when the packages do open up. So I'm just kind of drifting right now. I want everything to be planned out, so this is an uncomfortable position. I want to be able to look at the app and see everything. As it is, I frequently look at it just to see the hotel information. I've opened the map for our resort at least 100 times. The club level rooms are in a specific building, so I know where we're going to be staying, and I look at it all the time.
I can't even start planning what clothes we'll need to get, because February can be very...variable. It might be in the 50s, it might be in the 80s, you just never know with Florida weather. We'll probably need to get some more shorts, and some leggings, just in case. Short sleeved shirts? Long sleeve? Who the fuck knows! It's a good thing Old Navy ships quickly, because we may be ordering when it gets closer.
Short one today. I'm going to go get more coffee and contemplate my navel until it's time to get Dad up. Have an awesome Friday everyone!
