And it's back to work day. Boo. I really, really did not feel like getting up this morning. I kind of just laid there for a long time before I finally heaved myself out of bed. Now we're one cup of coffee in, and I still want to go back and curl up for naptime.
As a result, I'm running a little behind my normal schedule, but I don't really care. I usually sign on earlier than I'm supposed to anyway. IF I log in on time for a change, the world won't stop. I seem to be in a little bit of a "meh" mood, so work will be fun.
Did all our errands yesterday. I went to Petsmart early, because the cats were refusing to eat the Friskies. So, I went early to pick up their bougie food. This is funny because both of our cats were strays who just showed up one day. They literally ate dead animals and out of trash cans, and now they get pissy if they don't have their expensive canned food.
Then, it was off to the Weed store. The parking lot is always busy on Saturdays, but we got in and out okay. Jess got their gummies, and another pre-roll of their favorite strain, so they're good for a few weeks.
Then, a quick stop at Petco for the caloric supplements for Sam, and we were on our way back home.
We got to about 1pm before I realized that I hadn't eaten anything with actual protein, so we ordered Mexican food from R&R Taquiera. I always get the Hurraches Albanil, which is basically the protein special. Beef, chicken and fried eggs with cheese, crema and avacado. So fucking good, but so much food. Jess had to finish it for me. They got chorizo potato tacors, which were tasty as fuck.
Didn't do a whole lot the rest of the day. Just kind of paced the internet and tried not to be driven crazy by my sister showing us the contents of her twitter timeline. Dad was also especially fussy and loud and both of us were ready for bed, and went down a little early to listen to some Dimension 20.
Today, I shall do all the markets, probably before 9:30, and have the rest of the day to be bored. Whoohoo.
At the moment, though, I'm sitting here on the sofa with Sam purring quietly next to me, and all is good. Have a good Sunday everyone!
