Short update today. For the last few weeks, our queen kitty Gracie has been losing weight and not eating well. Over the last couple of days, she's stopped eating entirely. We took her to the vet this morning, and we still don't know anything. Maybe tomorrow when the blood work comes back. The vet seemed concerned that when he spun down her blood it seemed "thin." which I think means her red cells are minimal. This...does not sound good, I don't think.
I'm a wreck. My greatest fear is that it'll be something treatable, that we can't afford to fix.
They gave her some subcutaneous fluids, which seems to have perked her up some.
I'm trying to be positive, but I'm having a very hard time with it.
I'm kind of glad it's not a D&D weekend, since I don't think I'd be a very good DM right now.
Doggo has his grooming appointment tomorrow and of course yesterday, he got a poopy butt, which is always awesome.
Okay, time to maybe have another cup of coffee and try to get myself together. It's going to be a long 24 hours, I think.
