Somehow, I apparently slept wrong, as my neck is tight and hurting down into my shoulder. Ibuprofen will be required for certain.
Yesterday was mostly boring as expected. I did Chicago in the morning, and then waited til about 3pm for anything else to come in. I started listening to the new Seanan McGuire October Daye novel, When Sorrows Come. I'm not that far into it, but I'm enjoying it so far, and It'll give me something to listen to for a day or two.
Plus, if I'm able listen while I work, I can always pick up a few more books and maybe not be quite so bored when I have down time. Next up, I may see if they have some Ursula Vernon books. I haven't read the last Saint of Steel book yet because I've been in a reading slump. I just don't have the braincells to focus on anything longer than your standard social media post.
Today, I have a Town Hall meeting. It doesn't sound like it's anything exciting from the other sessions that went on yesterday. They did make it clear that Work From Home is temporary, which kind of sucks. I really don't want to go back to the office full time. I think they're going to have a lot of people who will quit rather than go back. It could be a mess.
I think I'm getting old. I've been watching the Busch Gardens Insider's Facebook page, because I figured maybe I'd get a couple of tips for the upcoming vacation (Which to be fair, I have). But my god, these are some wanky and unpleasant damn people. The park is doing their Howl-o-scream season for Halloween. There are haunted houses, and scare actors walking around the park. There's a necklace you can get to "opt out" of being jump scared in the park. You would think this would be a good thing, so people can enjoy the theming, and the rides at night, but nooo. Apparently, this is going to infringe on other people's experience. That's not even mentioning the wank when indoor performers started wearing masks again. It's just making me so tired and irritated.
15 days to vacation now. I just want it to be here already.
Okay, time to get some more coffee and ibuprofen. Have a great Wednesday, everyone!
