It's Monday, and I need another hour of sleep. I went to bed at a reasonable hour and slept well, but six am came way too early. My alarm was a total surprise, leaving me fumbling to shut it off. Normally, I wake up before my alarm, but not today. Oh well, maybe naptime after work. That would make Yoda happy. I'll get up and say "Wanna cuddle?" and he'll rush into the bedroom, stepping on my slippers all the way as he tries to herd me along.
I got an email from Baltimore County offering me an appointment for the vaccine, also on Tuesday. I went ahead and took it, since it was a better time, and closer to me. I won't have to wait around after getting off work as much, so I won't have as much time to be anxious. Plus, there are more medical professionals there, just on the off chance that I have a reaction. (Not expecting one, but jerk brain is gonna worry.) So now, I'm getting my first shot at 5:27pm. My sister got her invite as well, and she's going at 6:15pm Tuesday as well. Not sure that's the best idea, to have us both potentially sore and achy at the same time, but when the county summons you, you've sort have got to go. Hopefully, Jess will get her invite in the next couple of days, so they too can be stabbed.
Jess says that when we're both vaccinated fully, they'd be willing to go out to eat, so that's something I'm looking forward to! And maybe to a hair dresser, so I can get my mop trimmed, something that hasn't happened since probably January of last year. Oooh, and maybe a pedicure! I've been dreaming of a pedicure for the last six months.
I'm still going to wear a mask for the foreseeable future. Aside from getting Covid, I've been healthier this year than any year past. No winter cold or flu at all, which has been lovely.
Okay, time to have that last cup of coffee, and get ready for work. I'm on delivery updates all week. Hopefully, I don't have a bad reaction to the shot, because I literally cannot call out on Wednesday. I can leave early if I have to, but that wouldn't be ideal.
