Not much exciting to report today. Work was mostly boring. I did a few of a coworkers markets, since he was doing the inbox, then reschedules. One of our central warehouses closed for a few days, presumably due to Covid, and now all the deliveries have to be rescheduled, to the tune of nearly 1,000. I did about 150 of them, so hopefully between me and everyone else, we made a dent in it.
There were a couple of emails in the inbox that will undoubtedly become my problem soon, so I expect a project in the near future. Two of them are via the Market Managers who I can't stand, so that's always fun. Wonder if they'll accuse me of not knowing how to do my job this time?
Pupper dog is back to his usual insufferable self, which is nice. Jess is feeling much better as well, so I'm less stressed.
The first part of my Goldbelly order is on its way and should be here today! Seafood gumbo and crawfish etoufee shall be mine tomorrow once it's thawed out. I really hope it's good. The place I ordered from has a 4.7/5 rating, and the comments said the food was delicious, so fingers crossed! If it's good, the vendor ships directly, so I'll probably order from them again.
I figured out that the cost was about the same as dinner off Grubhub for the four of us, and we'll probably get two meals out of this, so I no longer feel guilty about ordering. It's a quart of each, and once you add in that we'll make rice, it may well be lunches for a week, too. I need to stop at Safeway and get some medium containers so we can make premade portions for easy lunch consumption.
