Not a whole lot going on at Casa Beanside today. It's Sunday, so back to work. Got some of our errands done yesterday--the important ones, at least. We got Jess' prescriptions, which was important. One from Walgreens, one from the dispensary. The cannabis sleepytime pills continue to work pretty well for them, which I am grateful for. In addition, they've found some strains of pre-rolled joints that are good for relieving pain, which helps for migraines.
I envy them sometimes. But until it's legalized in the US, I could still lose my job over it if they wanted to test, so no. It's unlikely, but I'm just not willing to risk it. Once it's legal, my ass will be all over that. Edibles, most likely, and there's a lotion that's supposed to be good for pain that I really want to try on my neck. Also, once it's legalized, I can use my FSA card on it, which would be nice.
I got new underwear from TomboyX yesterday. I'd gotten a pair a couple of weeks ago and finally wore them. They were really comfy. They're expensive as hell, but since I've had a really hard time finding briefs that covered everything I wanted them to cover (cheeky briefs, MeUndies, really?), I was willing, plus I had a 20% off coupon.
That, and some lovely Pad Thai was my weekend. Unfortunately, I ordered shrimp, and they sent chicken, so I mostly at the noodles and tofu. I really just cannot with most chicken now. Even with the fish sauce, it tasted rancid. Fucking Covid. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
