Still here. Still kinda a mess.
So, our meeting at work yesterday told us exactly nothing. We have no manager as of now. For the time being, we're reporting to one of the higher up managers while they figure their shit out. The joy of bureaucracy. The higher up manager said she had a meeting with HR about it today, so hopefully we'll know something soon. My team is not handling it well, which is not a shock. They tend towards the overdramatic. (These are the people who once compared us to the slaves of Egypt, for fuck's sake.)
But on the plus side, it's my Friday, and my early day. (We get one day half an hour early to avoid the possibility of OT, which is a problem for the call center side of the business.)
Not much else going on over here, I'm afraid.
