Yet again, don't really want to do the work today. I'll live, and I'll do it, but I'd much rather be napping. I don't expect my market reports in until the afternoon, so I'll be at loose ends today, unless a wild project appears.
Yesterday, as expected, I was on the phone all damn day. It made it incredibly difficult to get shit done because the phones were ringing off the hook. There seemed to be one other person from the Services group on, and one from the Phone's queue. The one from the phone's queue was less than useful, as they tend to take anywhere from 10-30 minutes on a call that should take 5. Of course, once in a while they'll take longer, but damn. I took 3 calls to their 1.
I am finding it difficult to hold back my snark while at work. I am, because I am a professional princess, but damn. So many snide comments I want to say that I just can't.
I can't comment on the Cheeto without my head wanting to explode. I quarantined for nearly a month, because my symptoms lingered, and he takes a joyride because he's bored. Fuck him. Fuck the Republican party that enables him. Fuck his nepotistic fucking family. I'm still terrified of the election, but this has brought my anger to the forefront instead of the fear.
Okay, enough of that.
I'm prepping for my Monster of the Week game, and I'm wondering if I have enough story. The last game was very structured, seeing as it was a house they needed to clear. This one is more of a "here's what's happening, what do you want to do?" Since last time, they came up with a variety of interesting divergences, I'm hoping they'll do the same. Just the same, I may come up with a few more beats for the plot. More murder and mayhem is always a good thing, right?
