Did not sleep well last night at all. I crashed when I went to bed, but staying that way was. Just. Not. Happening. I have nights like this about 2-3 times a week, so it's not a shock, but it's always annoying. It always seems to happen on the night before I have to put Dad to bed, so I'm extra tired when I have to stay up a little later. I woke up at 11:30pm, and then again at 2, 3, and gave up around 4:30am. I stayed in bed until 6,but I was awake, and waiting until the time came that if I got up, I wouldn't have to make coffee. Which is a little petty, but oh well. I'll make the 2nd pot.
Work is going to be a slog today. It may be a day for that extra cup of coffee. Today, being towards the end of the week, is the first day I can reasonably expect an answer. Mind you,I've been unreasonably hoping all week. I keep checking my candidate portal for any updates, and every time I get an email, I'm all !!!!, until I see that it's garbage. I really just want an answer. If I don't get it, I'll be sad, but I'll survive. I'm off on Friday, so if I don't get something today, I may not find out til Monday, which is just torture.

con_txt is only a day away! It's getting bigger than expected, with close to 200 attendees. I'm very excite. I'll be on discord, under (shockingly) beanside. If you're interested, you have until midnight on 7/24 to sign up! But do it before, so you don't miss the hangout on Friday night! (from 8pm-10pm EST) I'm hoping to reconnect with old friends and maybe find a few new ones!
