Why must I be awake? I made the mistake of taking the morphine in the afternoon, so I couldn't pop another one before bed. *shrug* This of course, meant that I woke up at 1:30 am, wide awake and in pain. Whoohoo.
I dozed off and on until about 4:00, when I finally went back to sleep, only to wake two hours later with the alarm. Ew. Must do a better job of managing my pain meds.
I sent in my check yesterday for my insurance. I've already set up an appt with a neurosurgeon for the first Wednesday in November. Hopefully, he'll have some ideas on how to help, maybe without jumping to surgery right away. I have a week off from the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, so if I need to have anything minor done, I'd be good to go.
Then, I have two/three weeks around Christmas that I can take if need be.
*shrug* We shall see.
With some luck, Nov 5th will be a day of hope all around.
