Woot!

Now, if I could just convince my brain to slip out of neutral into gear, I'd be so much happier.

The weekend, despite having a lot to get done, was actually pretty good.

Saturday, we ran a couple of errands, but mostly took it easy. Sunday was the big errand day of doom.

We got up early, and headed down to the Inner Harbor to pick up brochures for the "things to do" table at Wincon. It was gorgeous out, and we sat by the water for a little while, waiting for the restaurants to open. Helpful tip: If you want awesome seafood cheap, there's a little place next to Phillips, called Phillips express. Same food, but they call your order, and you pick up the food and eat at high stainless steel benches instead of them serving you. Knocks about half off the meal, they still have beer, and the food is wonderful. I got a pound of snow crab legs, mini crabcakes with fries, hush puppies and two drinks for Jess and I for under $30, and it was AWESOME. No tip needed either.

Then, we picked up some microphones and cables to hook to my amplifier, which will hopefully be enough to give the panels a boost/make the vid show audible. I wish I had a bigger amp, but it'll have to do. *shrug*

Then, we watched Speed Racer and Ginger Snaps. The old cartoon of Speed Racer was my first cartoon love when I was five, so I was looking forward to the movie. It...wasn't bad. Mind you, I slept through the first hour, so I missed all the bullshit plotty stuff. The last hour and twenty was fun, though.

Gingersnaps was disturbing, and awesome. Also, hot.

*shrug* I'm shallow, what can I say?

Today, I am sore, foggy and ready to smack a bitch with my shoe.

Now, I shall go back to contemplating fic, probably to spam again.
