Yup, that pretty much covers what this will be.
But first, a belated Happy Birthday to
creepy_girl80! Here's hoping it was a good one.
Now, onto the whining. Somehow, I've managed to strain the tendons of my rotator cuff, apparently fairly badly. Go me. Ended up at the Doc-in-the-box on Saturday night/Sunday morning getting it checked. Was given a sling and some high powered Motrin, which hasn't done jack or shit. Then, went to my primary care for a recheck yesterday.
She seemed rather impressed with my ability to fuck myself up, with absolutely no memory of how I did it. She gave me some heavy duty Naprosyn for the daytime, and Lortabs for night use. I suppose it was a bit of a testament to how long it can take to heal that she actually gave me 100 of the nice narcotics. Jess kiddingly told me that if I wanted to make my money back, I should come around Towson with them at Finals time. At least I'll actually be able to sleep, which is good.
Otherwise, haven't been up to much, as the shoulder has put a bit of a wrench into actually doing anything useful. Yesterday, I managed the trips to the doctor, to lunch, to the store for my prescriptions, and a trip to the library, and promptly passed out around 8 to watch Angel in a drugged stupor. "You're a wee puppet man!" *giggle* I love Spike.
Enjoyed the new Mythbusters and Alias shows on Sunday, though Alias is griping my ass, making me wait three weeks between each goddamn show. *sigh* Now, I shall do some work, I suppose. Thank god, I have no 4-5 year olds for shots today. I don't think the shoulder could take it. As it is, my next difficult shot won't be til Tuesday of next week, so hopefully, I'll be better to some degree by then.
