No, I'm not eager to have Jess home, why do you ask?
So, in an attempt to kill some time, went to see S.W.A.T. today. Was a little nervous, since George, Shelly and I all wanted to see it. Usually, those are the movies that can be counted on to suck beyond your average suckage. I mean, to the point where you're tempted to leave half way through suckage.
Got decent previews, one for The Rundown, with Rocky and Sean William Scott, which actually looks cute. I mean, it's got Christopher Walken as the bad guy, which automatically ups it a few points on the sucktastic scale. Underworld didn't look nearly as bad as I'd feared it would. The chick is hot, the werewolves are suitably brutal, it's got a good premise. It'll probably blow, but they'll look good doing it.
Then, we had a couple crappy ones, but then...Once Upon A Time in Mexico, aka Desperado 2. Oh, holy fuck. Droooool. Johnny looks so fucking hot that I nearly ran up to lick the screen. Him against Antonio Banderas...Oh, I think I love with Robert Rodriguez for this. Hotness! Johnny in leather!
SWAT was pretty good, all in all. Colin Farrell is a decent actor, I adore Samuel L. Jackson, and Michelle Rodriguez is just hot. Also, the guy they had playing Colin's ex partner did it for me in a weird, twisted way. Reminded me of Ragnarok-Danny.
So, all in all, a good day. *nod* And tomorrow morning,my love gets home.
