T-Minus 2 Days, and counting.

And might I just add a resounding Aaaarh! to the mix.

Actually, we're doing pretty well with the wedding preparations. I think we just have a couple small things to get for the ceremony itself; a fan for the blessing from Air and a shell for the Water blessing, but we're getting there. We also need to pick up some film for the camera, and some make up, and Jess needs to find Margot's thank you gift, but then, we are done, done, done!

Damn good thing. Neither of us is going to retain much in the way of sanity if we don't get our shit together.

Yesterday, we ran around like psychos, trying to figure out what we wanted to do folder-wise for the ritual. Somewhere along the way, I was accused of "Martha-ing" (as in Stewart) and had Jess attempting to ground in the middle of Office Depot. Then, it was off to AC Moore for some other shit.

We dyed Jess' hair red last night again, which is cool. I love Manic Panic's Vampire Red. Also added a blue streak to the front of my hair, but it doesn't really show up well, since my hair is so dark. It really sticks to the gray, though. Makes it a lovely sky blue. It doesn't hold well, though. It'll be pretty much gone by Saturday. Jess' hair holds the dye much better.

And now, I shall work. Camp forms, glorious camp forms. Whoo.

Ooooh, forgot to mention...

I finally gave up my search for a dress other than the one I had, which can be found right here. Decided that while, yes, it is denim, it's also really fucking cool looking, and besides, I look good in it. Also, it keeps the whole Fire/Water thing Jess and I have going in our color schemes. Plus? Princess seams make me a very happy camper.

So, with that in mind, I made my head piece. It's pretty simple, but I like it. It's five strands of pearl-like bead things, one strand of blue ribbon braided together. It'll kind of lay over my hair, and I may or may not put a little piece of tulle at the back, make a cute little veil to hide the fact that I might just ponytail my hair. *grin* Probably will make little braids along the sides, to pull back and make it look specialish.

We just have to remember the curlers for Jess' hair. She looks so cute with the little flapper waves!
