Okay, I'm about to reveal my overall patheticness to the universe. See, my beautiful, talented fiance sent me flowers. I love her. Of course, I was nearly in tears in the living room, looking at them, but that was a good thing.

But here's the pathetic part. It occurred to me as I was carefully trimming them, and tucking them in their vase, that this is the first time in 28 years, that someone has sent me flowers.

So, thank you, my wonderful baby. I'd be lost without you.
