Argh

I've been meaning to update as far as the results of my last test for the last two weeks, but work has taken a sudden turn for the OMGBUSy. Snotty little buggers. *grin*

Had my test, and Lo, the gallbladder is fine. On the other hand, the ulcer that's sitting right on the stomach/small intestinal border kinda sucks. Yup, an ulcer. Go team me.

I'm on enough meds to choke a horse, pepcid and nexium practically around the clock. Still on a relatively bland diet, but it's helping, so I won't bitch...too much.

The one thing that's killing me is that I can't have any good pain relievers. No ibuprofen or alleve. Just Tylenol. Which, considering that the baby daeva is trying to claw free of my uterus again, sucks. I've taken enough tramadol that I'm mildly stoned, and it still hurts. I almost feel bad for the patients, cause I'm one big ball of friggin' sunshine right now.

I know it sounds weird, but have you tried the adult strength liquid Tylenol? I'm in the same boat as you ibuprofen-wise and am an ulcer 'survivor'. Sure it tastes like cherry CRAP, but it tends to feel like a...coating on the pain. Doesn't kill it, but does woob it up a bit.

I'm happy that your gallbladder is fine, the trails that one must go through just to rule something out sucks. But the ulcer, owie. I hope that they can treat it and that it lessens every day. I wish I had some advice for the only Tylenol thing, but sadly I don't. *hugs you* I just hope you feel better.

Ulcers suck! I'm sorry to hear that, but now that they have figured out what is wrong they should be able to move forward with some sort of treatment diet/plan/etc, right?

And your patients will survive, don't worry about them :)

Ulcers suck out loud! But at least your gallbladder is okay.
Sorry for the pain...I can't think of any remedy, except mint tea (at it relieves the burning part of the ulcer pain).
