If you haven't seen it, I highly suggest checking out the site of oneBear McCreary, who is the composer for Battlestar Galactica.

Turns out, those poundy drums? Yeah, Vatos and Avila. And the awesome guitar work? Bartek. He has pictures in the gallery. Go now. *grin*

Hee! I work at the USC Thornton School of Music. Bear is a recent graduate of the Scoring for Motion Pictures and TV program. Nice guy. The school made a big deal last week about his Emmy nom. Oh and the chick who sings the floaty choral stuff in the title theme of BSG? She's one of my co-workers and a good friend of Bear's.

Hee!

The pics on his website from the Vatos concert is just another one of those things that makes me sad that I'm on the East Coast. *sigh*

Your co-worker has a hell of a voice. Rich and full of emotion. I have to say, they've done a note-perfect job of getting the right people at the right time for that show, both musically and from an acting standpoint. There have been eps I didn't love, but they were still better than most of the stuff on network tv.

Wait, that's what i've said about SPN, too. I'm seeing a theme to my shows...

Wow, you were so right about the website, it was worth it for the pics alone.

And you were talking about it sucking living on the east coast, try living in Louisville, it sucks, the best concert we've had here for a while was Tallica in 2004. Our mayor has made the venue taxes so outrageous it's hard to get good bands in here.
