I'ma gonna end up smacking a bitch before lunchtime. Grrr. Fucking hate specialist doctors with their sense of entitlement. Your little hellion has ADD, maybe a learning disorder. Comparing that to the little ones with facial lacerations we send to you for emergency stitches to avoid leaving unsightly scars on them is not going to get you in faster. Actually, it's just going to piss me off. Sorry if we pulled you away from a fucking boob-job, you sanctimonious asshole. The answer's still the same, whether you ask at the beginning of the conversation, or after you've been trying to bully me for ten minutes! Now, go fuck off and die. *snarl*

Why is he going to a pediatrician for an ADD/LD diagnosis anyway? Or is it one of those 'need a referal' appointments? (Not to imply pediatricians aren't qualified, but most docs send their kids to the specialist if it's anything more than a cold or a scrape or a yearly checkup. (Though some pediaticians aren't qualified to diagnose ADD/LD, because it's complicated and best done by a neuropsychologist/neuropsychiatrist with detailed IQ tests, which takes far longer than any primary care doc can spend with a single patient these days.)

*cuddles* I'd say kill 'em, but I'm not allowed to encourage that. I love my kids too, but damn, sometimes what's wrong with them is superceeded by another child. I'm a bad mother for seeing this.
