Ah, Monday. How I love thee. At least, I do after a couple coffees.

We had a good weekend, went on Saturday to see the Fantastic Four. Without spoilers (though, c'mon, it's a superhero movie, can you really spoil one of those?), I'll just say that it was a good summer movie. After spending the week watching death tolls coming in from London, it was a nice bit of escapism fluff. Chris Evans was a great smart ass, and Ioan Griffud was great as Mr. Fantastic. Jessica Alba let her breasts do most of her acting, which was kind of annoying, and Julian McMahon was way over the top. And why, oh why would any country give someone a steel human face as recognition for humanitarian work? "You've done great deeds. Here, have a face." *snort* Still, it was fun.

We had lunch at Noodles and Co, who earned my love forever by putting all of their nutritional information online, so that I knew ahead of time that I was getting one of three choices, and staying under 7 points for the meal. *nod* The new Hunt Valley Avenue is beautiful. It's going to be a wonderful place to go visit, have lunch, then go to a movie, shop, or whatever. Truly beautiful with fountains, a small koi pond, and a big gazebo, and a really pretty looking layout that lets shops look distinctive, but keeps a quaint mainstreet feel. Much more visually appealing than White Marsh.

Sunday, we did a little shopping, got some good food to help us get back on track with Weight Watchers, since we've been struggling lately. I was really pissed with myself last week at weigh in. And I know that's a stupid thing to do, and horribly self defeating, so I'm trying to get out of it. Plus, I'm fairly sure that I'm due for my period soon, (I tend to be a little sporadic, cycle-wise. It's usually every 4-6 weeks, but with no rhyme or reason.) so that's probably helping the water weight thing.

For the last two weeks, we've been working on some plotting for the first Ragnarok story that we're planning to get pubished, which oddly, has absolutely nothing to do with the pack. Instead, it's a nice side story with a heterosexual white male as the protagonist. Go us! Might be putting some info on it via the allroads community, for those who are interested.

So, yes. Good weekend.

Aside from that, things are pretty quiet in our neck of the woods. We're writing, we're looking at apartments and getting geared up for Jess starting at Loyola, and it's all good. *nod*
