Am sick. Again.
Started with fevers, scratchy throat and dry, tickle-in-my-throat cough. Have progressed to more fevers, painful throat-shredding chest-aching cough. Am so very unamused.
Am also at work, because I don't take sick days unless I absolutely have to. Plus, have tomorrow off, so I can suck it up for a few hours, and give some shots.
Will, however, be leaving early, as I'm not completely stupid. *nod*
Had a good weekend, despite being sick. Didn't do much outside the house, but spent much quality time cuddling Jess and watching craptastic movies, and reading some lovely books. "Make a Wish," promised to be a lesbian horror movie. The only horror was the plot and acting. And dammit, only a few tit shots. Where's the love? Where's the explotation? *sigh*
"Monster Makers" was only slightly better, but at least had Adam Baldwin chewing scenery, and Linda Blair being smokingly hot. Also, a ghost who possessed people and made them laugh like the old cartoon bad guys. All in all, spent 90 minutes laughing and groaning at the bad-ness of it. Not a bad thing, really.
Read the new Harry Dresden book, which was kickass, and the new Artemis Fowl, which was also hardcore. Next up, I may try the Jacquline Carey book, from her new world, Banewrecker, or something like that. But for now, I work. And cough.
