beansideIt's Wednesday! We have reached the halfway point of the week. I'm looking forward to the weekend, not only because we're going to see Deadpool and Wolverine, but that's part of it. I also have a thing for work on Friday, a get together at R. House. Which sounds good. I'll have to decide what my dinner will be. There's so many good food stalls that I'll really have to think about it.
In "incredible procrastination for the win," we're finally getting rid of Jess' old car. It hasn't run for about 10 years, and we've long since lost the key, but I did finally get off my ass and get a new title for it, so we can make it disappear. We're getting a grand total of $300 for it, but honestly, I'd have gotten rid of it for one dollar, so that's a nice surprise.
Yesterday was quieter at work. I only did 45 calls. Today may be a little busier, but we'll see. Tomorrow, I have a short day, so Jess can go to their doctor appt. My first use of PTO at Hopkins. So I'll get off at 2pm.
I'm continuing to be cautiously optimistic about Kamala Harris. I really would like for her to pick Pete Buttigieg as her running mate because I feel like he's very articulate and personable. But on the other hand, it would mean listening to even more hatred being thrown around because he's gay.
Okay, going to hop off now and put on pants and prepare for the day. Everyone have an excellent Wednesday!
