Wishing you an amazing year filled with joy. I'm lucky beyond words to have you in my life.
It's Tuesday, which means that it's Jess' Tattoo Day! We had already paid in full, and it's 50% non refundable, so they're going to go ahead with it. I'm really excited to see what the finished product looks like! Unfortunately, since we have Dad, they're going to have to go solo, but they assure me that they'll be fine. The stencil looks awesome, and I'm sure the tattoo will as well.
Well, I am officially free of Harford County. Unfortunately, it's because they fired me before I could resign. Rude of them. On the plus side, hopefully that'll make it easier to get unemployment. I applied yesterday, and my god, that is not an intuitive website. I don't know if they've made it more difficult, or if I've gotten stupider since the last time I was on it, but damn. Either way, I am now fancy free and looking for a job. I have the interview with Hopkins tomorrow, but no other nibbles. I had two scam replies, wanting me to download a special messenger client for the interview. Uh, no. One search online showed how much of a scam that was.
I'm hoping to maybe get another bite today, but we'll see. I forgot how much I dislike job hunting. Though it's much better than it used to be prior to the advent of websites like Glassdoor and Indeed. Sure, the scammers post there, too, but at least it's a bunch of jobs in one place.
Aside from the interview tomorrow, I also have to take my shit back up to Harford County. I was just going to mail it, but nooo, apparently, I have to take it. That's fine, I'll stop on my way home at the good bakery out there and get cupcakes. We'll have cake tomorrow night and the rest on Sunday, and then I will have a play D&D for my birfday.
Aside from that, it's a race of whether I'll get a job or drive Jess crazy first. I'm not good at relaxing, so this should be interesting. Hopefully, the job situation will give way before their sanity.
