beansideOne day til test time. I'm a little nervous, because I don't feel like I know the state route numbers as well as I could. I didn't do well when Jess quizzed me last night. I'm pretty solid on the police 10-codes, but I missed a few routes, so I need to work on them. The test is tomorrow afternoon, so I better get on it. I also need to review my Policy workbook, so I'm good on those, too.
At least after tomorrow, it'll all be finished, and I won't have to carry a backbreakingly heavy bookbag around. I'm looking forward to that. I think I'm good enough to pass as it stands now, but I want to do well, so I'm still going to study for the next day and change that I have.
Once I get through that, I'll have a busy week. I've got tests on Tuesday, Blades in the Dark on Wednesday, celebratory dinner on Thursday, and Frostmaiden on Friday. Saturday will be quiet as it's my only day off for before I start training to get on the phone.
Yesterday, I did absolutely nothing. I got dressed and went to the pharmacy at 7:45ish, was second in line, and got prescriptions for Jess and I. After that, I was a total lump. I barely did any game prep. (I did a few things for Frostmaiden, which was the least pressing, of course.) I did absolutely nothing for Blades, which is Wednesday. I'll have to dredge up my notes, so I'll know wtf is going on.
I can't believe this is my last week of the Academy. It's gone so much faster than I thought it would. It just seems like it was a couple of weeks ago that we walked into the HR building all nervous and unsure of our place. I'm sure in a week, I'm going to be thoroughly unsure of my place again, but at least I'll be able to say that I'm actually trained.
Time to go consider pants! Everyone have a most lovely Monday!
