Todays subject is a blast from the past from early Supernatural fandom. I swear, if you went on youtube and typed in "Weapon and SPN" you'd get at least a dozen videos. Castiel even has a video to it. (No shade, it's an awesome song, and very appropriate for SPN.) I got out of SPN after 5 seasons, but I still have warm fuzzies about the fandom for the most part. It got to be a bit of a cesspool, but I met so many awesome people in there, including one of my best friends, so I will always have a deep fondness for that show.
The weekend is boring. I had a few errands to run, to get the Russian food and pick up some prescriptions, but aside from that, I didn't do a whole lot. Mostly futzed around online. My sister was off watching her adoptive niece's playoff soccer game and she was gone the whole day, so I was mostly watching Dad.
Today, another day of watching dad today while my sister does the laundry. No games this weekend, since 95% of our people are at CONfab. (Where I would dearly like to be.)
Tomorrow, I start police protocol for 2 days. Whoo. It's not that difficult, just kind of tedious and droning. Hopefully, the guest instructor will be good. Once we finish that, it's right into fire protocol, which I've been told is the hardest one. We shall see.
I'm taking a little time off from studying before the big push. I figure that I'll get back to it next week, maybe on Tuesday or Wednesday. We'll see. I need to keep what I've got, and do a little more work on policies and procedures and Computer Aided Dispatch. I flopped at what the function keys did on that. Mostly because I'm a mouse person as opposed to a function key person. But alas, they want me to know them, so I shall.
Okay, I'm going to sign off now and maybe put on clothes. We have not yet turned the heat on, and it's a little chilly in my nightgown. Everyone have a perfectly lovely Sunday!
