Damn the alarm felt early today. I managed, but good lord, I didn't want to get up. I'm a little queasy this morning, which I'm thinking is from the chocolate I ate right before bed. Sometimes that messes me up, and I really should have thought of that before I grabbed it to raise my sugar. Gatorade would have been a better choice. Oh well, it's not bad. Just enough that I'll wait to take my pills until it's a little more settled.
Yesterday was tiring! Spent 3/4 of the day working on all the FEMA stuff that we have to get through to be certified. There's 8 units. I got through 3 1/2 of them. Some are three hours long, so that's not a huge thing. I'll get them done, it just might take a while. After that, the new people arrived to the class and we watched the Adult and Pediatric CPR videos. Practical had to be moved to Wednesday, so I will definitely need to wear deodorant that day.
We also got our list of terms for our test on Friday. It's a lot. There's routes/streets to learn, plus abbreviations, the phonetic alphabet (Which of course is not the one I was semi familiar with.) and 10 codes. This is stuff like "10-4," which means Okay. But this is a lot more.
It's going to take some hardcore studying to get those down. I wish the test was on Monday so I'd have all day Saturday and most of Sunday. But alas.
Today is 100% learning the Computer Aided Dispatch system. I'm looking forward to that, because I like to be hands on. It seemed really cool and somewhat intuitive when we were watching, so I'm sure it's harder than it looked.
I'm ready to take notes, so hopefully we'll be good.
Tomorrow is more CAD and then the practical part of CPR. Here's hoping my back behaves for it, since I have to have it before I can take the protocol classes and learn how to talk someone through it.
This week, I've got a game on Friday that I've got to prep for. I expect to be doing that on Friday when I get home mostly. I've got to get the monsters set and the maps up. IT shouldn't take that long, I don't think.
Okay, time to consider putting on pants. I want to get in a little early so I can study. Everyone have an awesome Tuesday!
