I am having a slow morning today. I woke up on time, but I can't quite seem to get into gear. Hopefully the coffee will help with that. It shouldn't be a particularly busy day, though now that I've said that... I should just have my markets and I may be training someone on how to handle Out of Market pickups that were set incorrectly. As it stands, I'm the only one who knows how to do these, and if I get any of the jobs that I applied for, I will not be available, and then the Operational Developer will hurt other people's feelings. (When we were in Disney, she got cranky with J and told him to "just ask beanside, she knows how to do it right." He still holds a grudge.) So, probably training. I just hope my manager gives me someone who doesn't suck. I like our OD, despite her being kind of abrasive. Once she knows that you know your shit, you're golden. We've become friendly, and I talk to her on a fairly regular basis and enjoy it, so maybe I'm just weird.

Yesterday, I had inbox, so that pretty much was my day. I'm not a huge fan of doing the inbox, but since that does become your primary task, in my case it means that I'm actually doing less than normal.

Once my sister got home, Jess and I bugged out, and went to visit the Prigel Family Creamery for ice cream. Unfortunately, they were out of some of the flavors we wanted, but the remaining flavors were really good. I, being basic, got a vanilla milkshake and Jess got two scoops of butter pecan. Let me tell you, two scoops there is like a pint of ice cream! They weren't able to finish it, and it had melted to the point where taking it home wasn't really an option. It's a nice little farm, and we're already plotting our next getaway.

They also have meat shares. I can't afford one at the moment, but if we get a bonus this year from IKEA, I might treat myself to 150 pounds of cow. It's a big lay out, but the actual cost per pound is only about $6.50, which is definitely not bad. We'll have to clean out our big freezer between now and November, which is entirely doable. The meat is aged, so it loses about 8% of that 150, and will be actually about 130 pounds. Still, at about 2-3 pounds per meal for 4 people, that makes it almost a year of beef, assuming that we eat it about once a week. Even at about $900, that's pretty good.

Okay, time to get myself together for work. Everyone have a amazing Wednesday!
