beansideAh, Friday a day of rest and relaxation home health visits. With 8 visits a week, they're stacking up. We've got the nurse coming at some point, then the home health aide, then occupational therapy. I don't expect dad to do well during therapy, because he's going to be exhausted. Three visits is just too many.
To be honest, we're not entirely sure why we're doing the PT/OT rounds again. It's not like he's going to put any effort into them. He'll do what they ask while they're here and then, after, he'll do jack and shit when we ask him to. Honestly, I don't expect him to ever really improve. I'm sure he could get some improvement, but I don't think he's ever going to get back to walking with his walker. He might get more mobile in the bed, but that's about it. And he can't even decide if he wants PT/OT! He told my sister yes, then yesterday he told Jess that he doesn't remember saying that. Which to be fair, he actually might not. But c'mon, dude. Make up your mind.
Yesterday at work was okay. A little strange. You'll remember I got a call from the recruiter Wed night, and missed the call. I called him back promptly at 9:15, and he said he had just gotten in, and needed to get everything set up, could he call me back in 15 minutes? Of course, no problem. He didn't call me back for two and a half hours. Then he did, and bam, it's a phone interview. No warning, no prep time, just...here we go! Considering, I think I did relatively okay? He told me I should hear something within 24 hours and asked what days I was in the office, so I assume I'm going to the next round? He asked if I was in the office then, leading to me worrying that I was going to be doing an interview in wrinkled jeans and a Ursula "so much for true love" shirt. But nothing came up, so I'm assuming next week? At the rate they're going, I'll find out five minutes before, if I'm lucky.
Still nothing on the Conshohocken job, but I applied for that much more recently, so it may take a little while yet.
Aside from that, yesterday was pretty dull. I did Delivery Updates, since M had to leave early. I'll admit, I'm a little resentful of her. When she's doing updates, that's all she does. When i do them, I'm doing everything. Next week, both she and J are going to be out, so I'll have both their work. Plus my normal work. It seems somewhat unfair that this is her only job. And she bitches about it like it's a huge chore and it's really not.
Oh well. Not my problem.
I'm so excited for the weekend. Games, movie, maybe dinner out! It's going to be so much fun!
