So, feeling a little better today, thanks to all of you, and a lovely note from my wife. I'm still kinda cheesed about the phone bill, but I'll get there. I can worry about that next week. Plus, I have to remind myself that I'm on Geico insurance, which pays the six month insurance in four months, which means that for the last two months, I'll have an extra $129, which I'm looking forward to. I'm paying month two this week, so that means that November and December will be car insurance free, which is wonderful.
I went to Wal-mart on Wednesday (before the phone/money debacle, when I still thought I had $50 extra this week) and put stuff on layaway. First up was a nice big cooler, which we'll be able to use for the camp out next month, I hope. Also, a water/wine skin to put some booze in for easy carrying. Third was a new bathing suit, in very pretty colors, since the couple of times at Beaver Dam have really done a number on my current one thanks to the limestone rocks, and the log rolling. It was on sale for $10, which is more than any plus sized chick can normally hope for. Normally, they run between $30-$60, even from Wal-Mart. Fuckers.
I also put two lengths of fabric on layaway, with thoughts towards Samhain. The first is a lovely black stretchy material printed with silver stars and moons, which should make a spiffing altar cloth. The second is an amazing purple fabric, kind of glittery. When it's held up, you can see that there's stuff woven into the fabric, bats and moons, and ghosts and such. I'm debating on sending it to
caarirose and seeing if she can make me an overdress out of it, assuming I can find a decent pattern.
But we shall see.
In other news, I'm bored. And I hate my musi. Oh, wait. That's not news. Fucking epic prone bastards. *shrug* Oh well, they'll behave, or I'll castrate them. I haven't done that to them...yet.
Now, I shall work. Whoohoo.
ETA:Oooh! Got my baby's return flight info! (They're visiting her brother in Lousiville, so they switched the return ticket from Chicago to there) She's coming home early on Sunday! *happydance*
