beansideLate post today. We started our morning by rope dropping the Magic Kingdom, so I didn't get a chance this morning. It's our last full day in Disney, and I'm sad that it's ending, but I really miss my kitty and puppy, so it's time to go home.
Yesterday was Hollywood Studios. It was supposed to rain, so I didn't take the scooter, and walked it. In 85 degree heat. I am so tired and sore today, I can't even. Still, it was a lot of fun. I conquered my fear and rode Tower of Terror, and only screamed a little. Let me just say when someone of my size comes out of the seat like that, you come down with a solid spank. I really enjoyed it, and the pictures are hilarious. We also rode Star Tours and Rise of the Resistance for our Star Wars quota. I became a giant nerd and goggled at everything.
Today, we did the Magic Kingdom, but only for a little while, since fatigue was taking its toll. Now we're back relaxing at the wonderful resort. Later, maybe a swim. It's about 83 degrees, which is a lot for my cold blooded Maryland self.
Tonight we have our big last night dinner at the California Grill. I'm undecided on what to get, but I still have a few hours to figure it out. It's a price fixe three course meal at the Contemporary Resort overlooking Cinderella's castle. Our reservation is at 7:30, so we should still be there for fireworks at 8:15, which will be lovely.
I've seen at least part of the fireworks three nights so far, and the opening song still makes me choke up a bit.
Going to wrap this up for now, and maybe have a little nap. Everyone have an awesome Friday!
