beansideTuesday time! Yesterday completely sucked. Dad seemed a little off, unsteady and maybe a little easily confused. We were ready to go get him checked out, but he refused. So, we spent the day worried and freaked out, wondering if he'd get worse. We gave him a couple of antibiotics and kept watch on his blood pressure, which was kind of low. By the time he went to bed, he seemed a little better, so I guess we'll see how he is today. It was a very high stress day, and I was pleased when we got him in bed, so I could relax. Not thrilled that he started doing this the week my sister goes away. At least that's not until Friday.
Added to that, I was on working reports which I loathe. I do it well, but I think it's the stupidest thing. It's basically rescheduling orders that have failed. We do this with no input from the customers, which I feel just sets it up to fail again. We email the customer, but I don't feel like that's enough. But I did what I was supposed to and kept the queue clear.
Today, I should just have my usual shit to do, thankfully. Unless of course, they put me in Casework. They might do that. I don't feel like it, but as always, I will do "other duties as assigned."
Friday morning, I have an appointment with my original shrink. Brightside didn't work out for me, since they couldn't prescribe Ambien. They did give me Trazadone, which definitely helped, so I will probably ask to continue that.
Still having some anxiety about the trip. I want to get everything set, and I can't do anything and it's kind of stressing me out. I've been watching videos of reviews of restaurants, and I think we've added a fourth one for lunch. Les Chefs de France looks like they have some amazing food. I'm looking forward to trying it out on our Epcot day. As it shakes out, we'll have sit down meals the first three days of our trip, then nothing til our last full day.
Looks like the first of the Black Friday purchases will come tomorrow-Jess' computer and my dress. I'm not really shocked that the Torrid order is going to be the last one out. They tend to be a little slow.
