beansideI was wide awake at 5 this morning, but damned if I wanted to get up. I laid in bed cuddled in a too-warm quilt until my alarm chimed at 6, when I reluctantly rolled out of bed. Even now, after I've shotgunned my first coffee, I could go back and curl up again.
Yesterday ended up being mostly boring despite having the inbox to do. It was pretty light, and mostly involved making not at home cases to contact customers who weren't home for their delivery. I can usually knock one out in under two minutes, so as a result, there was a lot of downtime between cases. And J was out for an appointment, so I didn't have anyone to snark with, so the day was kind of dull. I chatted on Discord a bit, putzed around on Roll20 for a few minutes prepping for games and was generally bored.
Today will not be any more exciting, most likely, but J will be back, so at least I'll have someone to bitch about it with.
I did not get the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion volunteer job I had applied for, which does not surprise me. I did get invited to participate in a mentorship program, so I guess I'll do that. I wasn't really in any way qualified to be an outreach coordinator, so. I'm not upset. This isn't the job I applied for, mind you, this was just a volunteer thing. I probably won't hear about the actual job til next week.
Okay, going to get myself together. Everyone have a wonderful Tuesday!
