beansideIt's Friday! Yay freedom for two whole days! It's a relatively busy day for me. I've gotta read the module I'm DMing tonight, and take the dog to the groomer, and have dad's tele-appointment, and then I've got to go pick up his prescription and get it filled. Then, pick up the dog, of course. It's kind of a busy day.
Yesterday, work was kind of annoying. I ended up working on the inbox part time again, because the dude who was scheduled for it only had two people in his department, and they were a little overloaded. So, J and I worked it. The annoying part was the transport company. They're just not doing their job, and then they're constantly bugging us about things that aren't our job. I finally had it yesterday and slightly unloaded on them. I doubt it'll help, but it made me feel better. My manager was totally cool with it, thankfully. She's tired of hearing about it from them, too.
And, while I was at work, my MacBook came. I'm typing this on my brand new shiny M2 MacBook. Going to have to get used to the keyboard, it's a little bigger than the one on my Chromebook. So far, it runs really well, fast and smooth. And the display is absolutely beautiful. Crisp, and bright and I love it. I pulled up Netflix on it, and was just amazed at how bright and gorgeous it looked.
I ended the day with a massive migraine, primarily thanks to the lighting in the office, I think. I only have to deal with it once a week, and I have to rebuild a tolerance. I still spent some time playing on the MacBook before I went downstairs to rest until it was time to come up and put dad to bed.
Today, I am anxious. Too much to do, and I just want to get it over with. According to the internet, that can be a sign of ADHD, which would not surprise me at all.
