beansideAnd it's time to go to work again. I don't wanna. I especially don't wanna with all this meeting bullshit. I'm really annoyed that I have to wait until 3. I don't like alphabetical order.
Yesterday was fine. I did the Delivery updates, but they weren't horribly busy, thankfully. It was enough that I had to do some updates, but not enough that I felt panicky.
Today, I'll be on the failed delivery queue, which I hate. But I will suck it up and do it. It'll keep me busy while I'm waiting, I suppose. It's just another task that's could be completed by a trained monkey. It's dull and annoying, and still makes no sense to me. The customer missed their delivery. It should be on them to call and reschedule for a date that works. But no, instead we reschedule for a random date and send them a shitty little email that says "Sorry we missed you, we've rescheduled!" It's bullshit. What we should be doing is sending them an email that says "Sorry you fucked up. Call us, or we cancel your order." And then, if it's still in the queue after 5 days, cancel them and refund the goods. Not the freight fee. They forfeited that when they missed their original delivery. This takes all the responsibility away from the customer, and I hate it.
Tomorrow, Yoda has a grooming appointment which will be good. He needs it desperately. We're going to the same company, but a new location and a new groomer, so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully, he'll be a good boy. They just opened the location and it's about 5 minutes from our house, vs 20 minutes for the old one. Yoda occasionally gets carsick, so the shorter distance is very good.
Aside from that, nothing much planned for the weekend. I may try to get an oil change on Saturday, but I'll have to see if they have appointments.
Okay, going to go decide what I'm going to wear today. I've been trying to wear pride shirts all month, but it looks like I'm going to be one short, so I may just wear my "Why be a princess when you can be a Queen." It has all the Disney baddies on it, with Malificent in the center. I have to go in two days next week--once for the Pride party and once for my regular day, so I'm saving my "Straight Out of the Closet and "Belong, Believe, Be Proud" shirts for then.
