beanside'tis Saturday! I managed to sleep until 8:15! This is late for me. I possibly could have dozed til a little later, but my friend from work texted me and the little bing startled me. I needed to get coffee anyway, as I was working on a little headache. Normally by now, I've downed my first two cups. The neuro thinks I should cut back on caffiene, but that's probably not happening. I was trying to cut back a little at a time.
Shitdicks, I just realized I forgot to get anything out for dinner tonight. Ugh. Go team me. I was going to do baby back ribs doused in BBQ sauce in the crock pot, but I guess that's not happening. Well, fuck. Guess I'm putting in a quick order at the grocery store.
Not a whole lot planned today. We're mostly just going to relax until game time. Mind you, this is subject to change if my sister is especially interactive today. Then we may go out in self defense.
Last night's Frostmaiden game consisted of a single boss battle. The boss had loads of hit points, plus a lot of nasty spells. He survived for two rounds, and sent a fuck you meteor swarm after his defeat. No one went down, but it was a close thing. The party's cleric was in the single digits by the time it was over. They were in a building and that saved all their asses, because I ruled that they'd take half the bludgeoning damage. Otherwise, boom. Next session, they're off to find his many clones in the hope of ending him once and for all. When he's killed, he just pops into another clone body and can continue to wreak havoc. In the meantime, he's busily doing his best to kill them, as they've killed him twice.
Today is Monster of the Week. Yay! I get to fuck shit up for my hunters! How many more complications can I throw at them!?!
Okay, time to get myself some more coffee, and try to wake up.
