But why is the sleep gone? I had no real urge to get up this morning. I seriously considered hitting the snooze. I slept more or less okay, but I'm just tired and unmotivated this morning. It does not bode well for the work day. Not that there will be a ton to do. My reports from yesterday came in late, so I'll have enough to hold me for an hour or so in the morning. After that, we'll see.

I also forgot to take my Rybelsus one of the times I woke up during the night, so I took it when my alarm went off. This means delaying my morning coffee, which is just painful.

Not a whole lot going on yesterday. Spent most of the day on TikTok on my phone. Jess sends me videos that they think I'd like, so I watch those, and spend the rest of the day browsing D&D and Disney subcategories. My algorithm is wild. I almost exclusively like things out of the two categories, but my feed seems to be a weird mix of crafting, food and cute animals, with the occasional D&D or Disney thrown in. I have no idea what the fuck is going on there. I don't mind what it shows me, but it would be nice if it would show me more stuff based on what I've evinced an interest in.

I probably could have gone looking for work to do, but at the moment, I'm not exactly motivated. Something about the suspicion that you're about to be fucked over massively doesn't inspire me to work harder. My one on one meeting is on the 23rd at 3. I put in to get out at 3:30 after my meeting. I figure I'll either be pissed off and not want to deal with anyone, or I'll be pleased and want to go home and share it with Jess. Either way, I'm not going to want to be at work.

Only 2 days left til D&D and 3 til Monster of the Week! I'm pretty prepped for D&D. For D&D, there's a handful of places they could go, and I'm ready for any of them. And thanks to a chat with

coyotegestalt, I've got the beginnings of a plot for MoTW. I jotted down a few notes the night I was talking to them, and now I just need to flesh it out a little bit. I think it'll be a fun, interesting game. They have three dangling plot lines: the demon Abbadon is coming in 6 months, and the zealot deputy mayor has decided that humanity needs to be ready for his incursion. To that end, she announced the existence of the supernatural to the population. Seeing as the hunters are Fey Touched and therefore not entirely human, this could be a problem. Last, as representatives of the Franchetti mob (the good mob?) they tresspassed on Shaunessy territory and may have touched off a war. So, the plot I've come up with ties into at least one of those themes. Plus it gives me the chance to introduce some new cryptid races, which is always fun.
