beansideHow is it only Tuesday? It feels like the week has already lasted forever! Part of that is that on Mondays there's absolutely nothing to do all day. The markets don't usually come in until after we've left for the day, and the ones that were sent on Friday are done on Sunday. So, nothing but boredom.
We had the lawn dude come by yesterday to give us an estimate on a spring cleanup for our lawn. They're willing to do a lot more than I expected, including cleaning and repairing our gutters, so we're definitely going to do it. It's $1345 for the whole shebang, which seemed really reasonable to me. They're going to clean up all the downed branches from the winter, all the leaves and trash on our back porch, trim some bushes, get rid of an old planter, remove some ivy from the house and generally beautify it. It's really needed.
Today, I have training to break up my day. It's nothing that I use as back office, but everyone has to take it. Next week, I have the code of conduct training. I figure before we all go back to the office part time, they're going to put out a reminder of how not to conduct yourself like a feral thing.
Tomorrow, I have my monthly one on one. I know it'll be good, but I really hate reviews and what not. They're just nerve wracking. I don't have anything to bring up, so it's usually just a retread. What can she say? I do my job, I don't cause trouble, I provide answers whenever they're asked in chat. All in all, I'm the easy employee.
Jess is awake early today, so I'm going to close here and spend some time with them before I have to go to work. Have a good Tuesday everyone!
