Monday, and I woke up tired and sore. The weather is being kind of a bitch, since it just went back down to near-freezing last night, and that kind of temp change tends to set off my headache. It's not bad, just kind of achy, but hopefully some coffee will take care of that. By the weekend, we're back up to nearly 80 degrees.
The meat finally came yesterday afternoon. It was mostly still frozen. The company says as long as it's below 40 degrees, it's okay, so I'm going to trust that they don't want me to have food poisoning from their meat. I'm still cranky at Fedex for the stress of it all. It was supposed to be here on Thursday, so Sunday is pretty unacceptable. I feel like a total Karen for even typing that.
Work wasn't too bad. I was busy up til about 11, then it was very sporadic. Plenty of downtime to be bored. Today, most likely, nothing is going to come in until late, if at all, so it's going to be a long day. At least coworker J is back, so I'll have someone to talk to.
My clothes from Hot Topic are still in "on their way" status. The last status update was four days ago. With the weather getting hot on Friday/Saturday, I'm really hoping they get here on Thursday as scheduled. I want my overalls!
Jess has been keeping track of my dizziness in a spreadsheet. Judging by what they've charted so far, it's definitely worse later in the day. It doesn't seem to have any connection to my sugar levels. I tried one of the vestibular therapy maneuvers that is supposed to help certain types of vertigo, but it just made me more dizzy. Three weeks til the ENT appointment.
I watched a video tour of our Disney resort last night. I managed to make myself motion sick and even more dizzy, go team me. I'm a planner at heart, and part of that is wanting to know where everything is in a place. Our resort is huge, and I want to know everything. I know where the hot tub is, which is very important to me. I don't care how chilly it is, my ass is going in that hot tub. I think my feet and legs will thank me for it.
I think, dizzy or not, I need to start walking. I've been kind of putting it off because it's unpleasant when your head is swimming, but if I want to be in Disney shape, I need to get started building my non-existent stamina up.
Okay, I guess it's about time for me to start getting myself together. I need more coffee and to actually eat something before I have to go to work. Everyone have a good Monday!
