beansideFriday! Sing it with me, it's Friday! I have absolutely no plans for today. I did see that Spider-man came to rental on Amazon, so that's a possibility, but aside from that, nothing going on.
Well, that's not exactly true. I have a feeling that I may be going over to my coworker K's home to get her new computer set up. She's 66, and still has a flip phone, so I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do text tech support and have that be sufficient. I don't really want to, but if she gets stuck (she's probably going to get stuck), I may do the thing. She has a son, but by all accounts he's kind of an asshole and might not be willing to do it, so we'll have to see.
Supposedly, I have two packages coming today, plus an instacart order. One is our monthly meat delivery, which was actually supposed to be here yesterday. They pack it well, so I'm not worried about it being defrosted. Those puppies will still be rock solid. The second, which I'm not really betting on coming today is our Magicbands. We technically don't need them until February, but I wanted to get them early. I needed tangible proof that we have plans. A touchstone for when I'm feeling discouraged, if you will.
My clothes sadly are not coming today. My UPS tracking says that my adorable Chip and Dale overalls will not arrive until Thursday of next week. Apparently Hot Topic's shipping is not the best. I probably don't need overalls, but they're just so damned cute.
Tomorrow, I believe we'll probably be going to the dispensary, and maybe to lunch, just to have a little grown up time. Big plans for the weekend, what can I say?
