beansideMorning has come, and brought with it a headache. Oh joy! At least I slept pretty well, so that was nice. Still don't feel like working, but I suppose I'll get over it.
My markets hadn't come in before I left yesterday, so I'll at least have something to do this morning. Yesterday was not exciting at all. The highlight of my day was buying new tennis shoes. I figure if I'm going to start trying to walk alot, my walmart shoes probably aren't going to be enough.
I did try walking around the neighborhood last night. It was pathetic how short the walk was. I'm really out of shape. But as Jess said, I have 10 months to get better before it's go time, so I will get better. I spent some of my time yesterday making a playlist of Disney music in the hopes that it would be motivating.
I have an appointment tomorrow to get my hair cut. I still don't know what exactly I want done. I was thinking about a chin length bob, but now I'm not so sure. Whatever I do, it'll be medium length. I want something stylish, but that doesn't say "I'd like to speak to the manager." Unfortunately, a lot of the medium styles seem to fall into that category. Complicating it is the fact that I want something easy. I don't like to fuck around with my hair much.. Well, any. I brush it, and that's about it. I have some natural wave, but not as much as I used to, so we shall see.
My plan is to be ready when we go back to work part time. I will look professional and poised, dammit. I'm hoping if I step it up a bit, the next time I apply for manager, it'll help. Dress for the job you want, and all that.
Okay, I'm going to get some more coffee and some ibuprofen for this headache. Have a good Tuesday everyone!
