Yesterday was a long day. I came in to a message from Coworker M. who wanted to let me know that she was out of the office, so I got to do the delivery updates. It was also supposed to be my inbox day, but I did get to bow out of that. I don't mind doing the updates really. They're honestly fine. I just would have liked to know ahead of time. I would have started my day a little earlier to start pulling the reports, since that takes the longest.

Fortunately, the updates were pretty light, so it wasn't too bad. The hardest part is remembering the formula for the V-lookup in excel. I don't do it often, so it gets a little fuzzy in the brain. I did it wrong twice before I remembered how. I was able to get my markets done in addition, so it was all good.

After that, I took a nap, as I didn't feel great, but I couldn't rest. By 8, that had bloomed into a full migraine, and I closed my computer because of the light sensitivity. I also had sound sensitivity, which was awesome, since Dad was chatty, and he tends to be a little loud. It was my turn to put him to bed, so I couldn't very well run away into the quiet.

Mostly, I continued the great Disney research project. I think we're good on the hotel, so we've moved onto dining. I picked up the Disney food and dining booklet from Disney Food Blog, and Jess and I have been scouring it. So far, we've come up with a handful of restaurants between the parks and the resorts. Assuming the current plan holds, our first restaurant will be Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and our last will be Ohana for breakfast on our last day. Epcot looks especially interesting as we plan to eat around the world. There's a lot of food types that we can't really get at home, so we're going to go for it.

We're thinking about leaving on a later flight on Saturday instead of Sunday at the crack of dawn to go down. Then, we'll stay in an airport hotel the first night and be able to get up bright and early to drop our bags off at bell services, and get to Animal Kingdom for our first day of fun. This is all subject to change, as it'll depend on what days the parks have magic hours that we can stay two days later. Right now, if it continues from what it is now, it'll be Animal Kingdom on Sunday, Epcot Monday, Magic Kingdom Tuesday and Wednesday, and Hollywood Studios on Thursday. Friday is a free day, and we may revisit a park that we really liked, as well as maybe hitting Disney Springs for dinner. Again, this is all subject to change depending on weather and park schedules.

Next up shall be looking at ride videos to plot the plan of attack on those. I'm hoping this year holds the same as last year, where there was a high of 75 degrees the first week of February. Might need a jacket at night, but I can do that. The only park we probably won't go back to the hotel mid-day at is Hollywood Studios.

Assuming we bot feel up to it, I'd like to go to the local High School track tonight to start our walking program. I'm going to make a playlist of Disney music to motivate me, and then I will walk as much as I can. We'll try to go a little further every day, until walking the parks won't be a problem for me. I'd like to be able to walk at least 7 miles at a time, which seems like a lot at this point. But with 10 months, I should be able to get there if I really work at it.

Okay, I will now go forth and get my butt ready for work. Everyone have a good Monday if you can!

sorry about the migraine!

it sounds like you're doing so much detailed research; it's cool that you've got so much pretty much nailed down
