beansideOkay, time to wake up. Yeah, not happening today. I've already had my first cup of coffee, and it hasn't helped yet. I am stubbornly half asleep. The cat is sitting next to me clawing me for attention and that's definitely helping some. Still, I figure I'll be actually awake some time around lunch.
Jess' appointment went well yesterday. They took one look at their ferritin level and marched them down the hall to get an IV iron infusion. So they're fully topped up, and will get rechecked in two months. They get to stop the iron pill, which is good, since it was making them feel like crap. Instead, they get a day or two of feeling like crap and then they should be feeling much better.
Work continues to be boring as fuck. Yesterday, I spent my afternoon reading a novella on my phone. (Ilona Andrews, Fated Blades-Pretty good. I love an enemies to soulbond story, and this was just what I wanted.) I'm not looking forward to the day we have to go in the office to get our tech, since I generally have nothing to do a good 80% of the time. It's going to be hard to pretend to be busy the whole time.
We have a team meeting today, which I expect to be a clusterfuck.
But today is Thursday, which is my Friday! And tomorrow is payday, which makes it a much better week. Maybe on Saturday, we can go out for lunch somewhere. It's supposed to be 55 degrees, which isn't awesome for outdoor seating, but we'd manage.
Not a whole lot going on here. No games til Sunday, when we have the long-delayed Masks game, and no D&D until next weekend, when we have all the games.
Okay, time for pants (leggings at least), which are as always, bullshit. Have a good Thursday everyone!
