beansideI ran the updates from start to finish yesterday. I might actually get through this. I have another three days of training before I'm on my own. I'm sure that I will panic on Christmas eve, but I think I know what I'm doing.
Sam was relatively restrained last night, so I got a fairly good night's sleep. I'm still going to mainline at least three cups of coffee, mind you.
Still waiting on Dad's gift, but there's a glimmer of hope. The first package has made its way to Baltimore, so hopefully, it'll be sorted, and sent here soon. Otherwise, I'll have Shelly print out a picture of it, and stuff it in a bag. I just can't fuss over it any more. It either will, or it won't. It's in the hands of the Baltimore Postal Service now.
I am slowly getting everyone up to date on the Roll20 system for my D&D game. I'm holding a set up and basic tutorial on Saturday. It seems to vary between "I have my character made, a four page backstory, and am equipped fully," and I have not been on Roll 20 yet, and my character exists only in my mind. Both are equally valid, but one requires more work, thus tutorial and character creation. I'm not sure how good I'll be at the tutorial, but I'll give it a try!
Then, another week to prep the game. I've read through the starting quests about ten times each. By the time this rolls around, I'll expect to have read it even more.
