Got all our errands done yesterday, so today will most likely be a quiet day until 4pm when we have our Monster of the Week game. It may be on the short side, but maybe not. My players surprise me all the time. And frequently, when they go in directions I didn't expect, I make shit up on the fly. My notes never quite match up to the game that ends up being played, and I think that's probably is the way it's supposed to go.
Jess got more cannabis yesterday. One, the strain called Garlic Cookies is incredibly pungent, and truly smells like garlic. Going in the kitchen (where the weed lives), it always smells like something is cooking. It's supposed to be really good for pain, so hopefully, it's as strong as the smell. Jess tried it yesterday, but didn't get a really good inhale. They're only taking one or two inhalations, and since Garlic Cookies is a higher THC content than Northern Lights, they wanted to take it slow.
It's kind of weird to me that I'm researching all these strains of weed. In the past, you got pot, you took what you could get, and it was pot. Now, it's like choosing fine wine or something. Do you want this type, or that type. What kind of effects are you looking for? There's pot to uplift you, pot to soothe you, or make you sleep. It's kind of odd and a little surreal.
We also got CBD mints for Jess and Shelly, which are supposed to help with pain. When we had CBD oil, it didn't do much for me, but apparently, the dispensary CBD is more regulated, and actually has the milligrams that it says it does, instead of being kind of a crap shoot. We'll see how it works for them.
