I'm feeling slightly less piss-baby whiny today. Work was work yesterday, though we did finally finish off the project of doom, so that was good. I felt somewhat accomplished, which was nice. We continued our stream of disappointing takeout, though, as McDonalds forgot Jess' McNuggets, and slathered so much mustard on my cheeseburgers that they were nearly inedible. I ate them, because I need 350 calories to take my Latuda, but damn, I hate mustard. Normally, it's a little squirt of mustard and a little squirt of ketchup, which I can handle. Ugh. It was nasty.

Ah well, at least I have MotW this weekend. It gives me something to look forward to. I don't know how long this one will take, but we'll see. It all depends on how much the characters want to investigate the seedy underbelly of West Ferry (which is the fictional town this all takes place in.) It's loosely based on Baltimore's Fells Point, but not quite as gentrified, or with quite so many bars. It's also set in a non-Covid world, because who needs that in a game that's supposed to be fun?

I'm becoming increasingly anxious about the election. It just sounds the same as 2016, and so I'm worried. I'm terrified that no matter what they say, white people are going to get to the polls and vote Trump. I had more typed up on that, but it was just my brain flailing like a picked up hamster.

I plan to do early in-person voting on Friday, when I'm off. MD early voting starts on the 26th, so next week. After that, there's nothing I can do but wait. I could really use some pot brownies. Or Xanax.
