beansideCovid continues to be bullshit. I still have a slight cough, a tendency to need my inhaler more often, and my lung capacity seems a little lower than usual. Nothing horrible, just like wearing a mildly tightened corset. It should improve with time, maybe. No one’s really sure what the long term effects are, which is awesome. I love being a test case.
We’ve been super swamped at work, which is good for me, since I get bored easily. We got behind on deliveries because of Covid cases at the warehouses (company policy is to close for a deep cleaning), and so there are hundreds of delivery updates rolling in daily. I’ve gotten in good with my manager by offering to do extra work, so that’s a bonus. They pulled me the other day for a special project which was a pain in the ass, but I got it all done.
I’m still working at home, hopefully for a while longer. I’m not in any rush to go back to the office. Especially since they few people currently working there have to wear masks and get daily temp checks. With my asthma, the mask is difficult for long periods of time. If I have to, I’ll manage, but it will be unpleasant.
We just watched Bloodshot with Vin Diesel. It was over the top, but surprisingly clever. I enjoyed every last stupid minute. Well worth the $3.99 price tag.
