I clearly need to 1)delete old WGA strike icons, 2)make more jensen, jared, and/or jeff ones and 3)upload those to my account. Since I'm already half an hour behind schedule this morning (and hey, it's not even 8 am, and I won't leave work a minute before 8:30 pm, that does not bode well).

I also woke up to the cat throwing up. yay.

And I didn't see this when you posted.

::kicks ground::

Anywhoo--I'll say this. What I loved about this chapter was that Jeff didn't hover. He didn't push. He listened to Jensen.

What I want to know--and what I know I won't know for a while since the story is from Jeff's pov--is whether Jensen expected Jeff to listen to Jensen. I mean, nobody else seemed to listen to Jensen. I want to know precisely what's going through Jensen's head: how much is shame, how much if grief, how much is anger, how much is something else he feels around Jeff that Jen's not admitting to.

I know that we're getting Jeff's POV,and that's working, so I'm not lobbying for you to change that, because I don't want you to do that to the story.

But consider this my official entry in the "Conversations I'm Looking Forward To Watching Them Have Down the Road" when things are better resolved.

I'm looking forward, in other words, to watching Jeff react to Jensen's response to this.

I'm looking forward to watching Jeff watch Jensen be surprised that he doesn't have to take care of Jeff's emotions and that Jeff won't rush in to save Jensen unless he asks. I'm curious to find out how much Jensen has been, even unconsciously, letting other people do things for him because Jensen doesn't want to ask/has trouble admitting that he needs help.

I don't know the answer to what it's going to look like, but I'll sure like reading it--as much as I liked reading this--when it arrives.

All right, gotta run. Please to be telling your wife I'll try to send feedback on her fic tomorrow. le sigh. I ran out of time this morning. Blerg.
