Todays subject line is from the deeply entertaining Cobra Starship (probably best known for the bob "Snakes on a Plane.) This one is from the total bop titled "Pete Wentz is the only reason we're famous." Gotta love the total inbred vibes from all of bandom.
I am so fricking sore this morning. But, I survived CPR training and have my certificate, so that is done for another year. We also did the practical for the stop the bleed course, which was actually a lot of fun. We used tourniquets (gently) on each other and got to play in simulated wounds. I actually enjoyed getting to pack the wound, which involved shoving gauze in while my instructor made the dummy bleed. It made little squelch noises and I thought one of the ladies was going to barf.
Aside from that, we played with the dispatch software some more and then did some studying. I'm slowly getting shit together, but I feel like I need to put it all together. I'm afraid that tomorrow I'm going to forget everything I've done.
Oh well, I've got all day today and tomorrow morning, I'll get up a little early and go in and have some time to study.
Today is all policies and procedures, so my highlighter is going to get a workout. I've been told to bring caffeine, because it's a lot and it's not thrilling.
Tomorrow, test time! Fortunately, then we get our list of stuff for next week, so I'll have the weekend to study some more.
I think I'll do okay on the test. It probably won't be a 100%, but I think I can pass?
Okay, time to get myself together for work. Have an excellent Thursday!
