Today's subject brought to you by the days when country music wasn't quite so establishment. Today's subject line is Martina McBride's Independence Day. She had some awesome songs. I'm pretty sure if Johnny Cash heard today's country, he'd be wildly disappointed. I don't think he'd appreciate current crop he'd have words.
Yesterday, I did absolutely nothing. Dad had two appointments, so I didn't want to get started on something and have to stop. And then the doctor was running late, so by the time we finished, I was ready to think about dinner.
About the only thing I did do was put in a couple more job applications in the morning. I've hit all the jobs that are currently out there, so now I'm looking for new ones. My application speed has definitely slowed down some. Last week was the flurry, but now I'm just checking once towards the middle of the day. Hopefully I'll get some call backs that aren't scams soon. I'm not sure what it is that the job site emails keep sending me sales jobs. I have never knowingly applied for sales. It's just not my thing.
Tomorrow, I have to go into work, but apparently the end of the day, we're having.an end of summer party. Normally, I wouldn't be big on it, but they're having crabs and I can fuck up some steamed crabs. I refuse to do karaoke, though. Or a talent show. They can fuck right off with that. Honestly, I'd prefer that they use the money to give us a raise, but I don't get a vote. So I will do my best to make them pay via eating everything they have.
Aside from that, not much going on. We have our Brindlewood Bay game tonight which is always fun, and then starting Friday we have a whirlwind of games.
And now, I've gotta start getting ready for work, so everyone have a stupendous Wednesday!
