It's office day! And 4.5 hour meeting day! By the time I get out of work, all I'm going to want to do is crash out and nap.

I spent most of yesterday like your average high school nerd--finishing other peoples work for the group project. Two of my coworkers came to me, nervous about the project and saying that they didn't know quite what to do. They didn't want to go in without something prepared. I showed them my notes and helped them set up their own stuff. (read, wrote it almost single handedly.) Once I'd done it for two reports, I asked J if he wanted some help, since I knew he was struggling a bit. Aside from that, it was just a lot of markets to do.

My plan is to get in there at my desk for the first half hour, then head to the conference room 30 minutes early, so that I can get set up/have a last bathroom break. We're taking two breaks, each 15 minutes, so I don't have to hold my bladder the whole time, thankfully.

The idea is that he gets there and I do my little opening, then throw it over to a coworker, then bring it back with a fun fact, then and introduce the next section/coworker. The original plan was that only one person was going to be in there at a time, but the team wants to all be there to support each other (and probably make sure that the other person is doing it right, lol.

Tomorrow is the beginning of Con.txt, which I'm looking forward to. I've got a game at 8, a somewhat messed up little one shot about an evil entity taking over Sesame Street and perverting the characters. I still have to find some maps for the game, but I finally finished making the character sheets and uploading tokens.

Then, on Saturday, it's the Leverage panel. With everything going on, I have not been able to watch the new show's episodes, which I feel bad about, but there was just no way. I'll try to watch some on Friday, but I'll have to go down the hospital to visit dad at some point.

He's doing okay, but his heart rate is still high and his white count is like a pingpong ball. 12,000, 15,000, 12,000, 13,000. They want to move him out of ICU now that his blood pressure is steady, but they don't have a bed in Intermediate Care. I noticed while I was there that he was having occasional Afib, so hopefully they'll work on that, too.

Okay, going to get my shit together and put on clothes. Everyone have a terrific Thursday!
